ASI activities are acting as a bridge and channel of communication, consultation, and information with the government and other relevant institutions at national,regional as well as international levels, boosting and promoting the image and reputation of the Indonesian cement industry in general both at national and international levels, supporting the control of effort to prevent damages and pollution to the environment as the consequence of production activities and process and to prevent negative impacts to the surrounding communities as well as to maintain balance and preservation of natural resources with reference to applicable laws and regulations, supporting and promoting the utilization level of cement and concrete, construction material and cement products for building material as well as other efforts required in the contect of improving and expanding the domestic cement market, supporting and promoting the realization of quality standard and certification in relation to the cement industry in a continues manner, promoting energy saving and efficiency by among other things developing alternative and renewable energy, promoting the application of Good Corporate Governance in undertaking business activities.

AKI – Asosiasi Kontraktor Indonesia / Indonesian Contractor Association

AKI has grown to be one of the respective associations in Indonesia, has successfully become the umbrella of the best contractors in Indonesia not only domestic companies but also international companies that operate in Indonesia. ICA members are dominant players in Indonesian construction market either individually or jointly cooperated with world-class contractors. ICA members have taken active roles as consortium member as well as consortium leader. ICA gives assistance to its member to develop construction domestic or international market. At present, there are many ICA members that have gained international work experience. By then ICA endorses its members to be more active in winning international bid. ICA has active role to the development of construction industry in Indonesia among others ICA as one of CSDB (Construction Services Development Board) founders. It was mandatory established by Construction Service Law No. 18/1999. CSBD is responsible for development of construction industry in Indonesia. ICA also has presented huge contribution in the area of construction industry including construction companies and supporting construction companies.

INKINDO - Ikatan Nasional Konsultan Indonesia / National Association of Indonesian Consultants

As a national consulting firms association, members of INKINDO do not only come from national consulting firms, but also from the Affiliated Members (International consulting firms operating in Indonesia).

INKINDO members are growing, both quantitatively and qualitatively, as well as the services and geographical coverage. When it was established, INKINDO only had 107 members in six province. Today, there are 7000 companies in 33 provinces in Indonesia. The significant increase of membership is in line with the growth of the National development activities. While the spreading of INKINDO members in encourage by the improvement of development activities in the regions in Indonesia as a result of the regional autonomy policy.

INKINDO’s activities and programs are directed at accomplishment of the organization’s targets, namely to create a conducive consultancy business environment, and to develop members competency.

Through capacity building, development and priority setting to be able to support the National development and to create opportunity for competing globally. Therefore, INKINDO is more than just an organisation that provide routine administrative supports, but it also stressed on the development of the consultancy profession, increasing market penetration, empowerment and priority set of its members, and creating conducive consultancy business environment.

The American Concrete Institute – Singapore Chapter (ACI – SC)

The American Concrete Institute – Singapore Chapter (ACI-SC) was founded in 1985. The purpose of this Chapter is to further education and technical practice, scientific investigation, and research by organizing the efforts of its members for a nonprofit, public service in gathering, correlating, and disseminating information for the improvement of the design, construction, manufacture, use and maintenance of concrete products and structures. ACI-SC has been conducting the Concrete Field Technician Certification course to equip the practitioner in the construction industry with knowledge and ability to properly perform and record the results of basic field tests on freshly mixed concrete.

Singapore Concrete Institute (SCI)

Singapore Concrete Institute (SCI) was founded in July 1978. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to uphold standards of excellence in the use of concrete, improve concrete technology and to facilitate the interchange of ideas and co-ordinate and disseminate information on subjects relating to concrete. SCI publishes SCI Concretus Magazine yearly and host several networking night and a Gala dinner yearly.
